Boyd spent over 17 years working for Microsoft and was the main
Technical leader for xbox live, xbox 360 and Kinect services from before
the services were launched until daily users exceeded 20m people
globally. His scope included hardware design as well as software
architecture and the operating system and how these were designed and
built to deliver the entertainment services to the highest level of security
from both external and internal attacks. Boyd founded kry10 in 2020 and
is the CEO and chief architect of the Kry10 OS. He has an Honorary
Doctorate of Engineering from the Glasgow Caledonian University and a
BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
