Bradley Kirshenbaum is a Johannesburg-based creative and the founder of Love Jozi. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design in 1993, he built his career in advertising, marketing and corporate communications before developing his own brands and independent design practice.

In 2005 he created a stylised graphic of Johannesburg’s skyline that launched Love Jozi. What began as a T-shirt side hustle has grown into a design brand spanning apparel, maps, wallpapers, merchandise and custom work for a host of clients.

His book and talk, I Love You I Hate You, explore his complicated relationship with Johannesburg through 20 years of Love Jozi, using humour, irony and close observation to turn the city’s contradictions into a distinctive visual language.
