Brenda Munoz, moved to Wichita, KS in 2023 from Southern New Mexico where she was born and raised. Brenda is an only child who was raised by a single mother until the age of 6, when her stepdad became her father. Brenda’s family comes from Jalisco and Zacatecas, Mexico and her first language was Spanish. Brenda graduated with a Bachelor s Degree in Counseling and Community Psychology with a Minor in Philosophy from New Mexico State University. Brenda is currently a Parent Engagement Coordinator with Kansas Children’s Service League and has been hosting Parent Support and Education Groups with diverse types of families including Kinship Caregivers, Caregivers with Children who have Special Needs and Parents in recovery.
