He has built and sold from scratch a software consultancy firm, Web Pyro. Throughout his career he has served as coder, marketer, product designer, and project manager as contractor or employee of nearly a dozen startups. As a thought leader, Brian has written over 400 published articles for Gannett news outlets and has appeared on sites such as the Akron Beacon Journal, Columbus Dispatch, and Columbus CEO. Currently Brian manages the tech platform for Kitces.com which has been ranked as the most Influential, Objective, Relevant, and Useful content among any online media publication for financial advisors by media research firm Erdos & Morgan. Brian is also a Project Management Profession (PMP) and specializes in Agile strategies.
