Brian is a Principal and Director of Design Research at Workshop. A licensed architect with over 30-years of experience, he has led social research efforts for numerous strategic planning, programming, and design project for leading institutions. These include the University of Michigan, Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Brian is also an associate professor of architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His research on "campus capital" mapping for the Michigan Union Renovation received the Environmental Design Research Association Certificate of Research Excellence.
