Buddhika Withanage is an independent researcher who is interested in the intersection of AI, Human Centered AI, Responsible AI and User Centered Inclusive Design. She is a grad student in Artificial Intelligence and currently researching on the potential of AI driven Augmented Reality applications for neurodiverse individuals. She recently completed her Masters in Human Rights degree at University of Colombo with a research titled: "Algorithmic Transparency and Accountability: Assessing Human Rights Implications of AI-Based Surveillance Systems in Post War Societies".
