The future is Carina Stöttner’s daily work as a sociologist, entrepreneur, and speaker. A strong curiosity and a view of the bigger picture have shaped her life from an early age. After studying communication science and sociology, she devoted herself early on to interdisciplinary questions about the future. Years before the launch of ChatGPT, she conducted interviews with chatbots for her master’s thesis, exploring how artificial intelligence could transform communication and society.

At 27, she founded a futures think tank, where she developed future scenarios together with her team. At 31, she launched her second company: Futurewise Company, a strategic futures advisory. Today, she advises boards, managing directors, and decision-makers on identifying new global growth fields, making more informed long-term decisions, and creating a shared vision of the future for companies, organizations, and regions.

Her research focuses range from the future of industry and artificial intelligence to emerging customer needs. She has published two books – "Climate Neutral" and "The Future of AI in Talent Management" – as well as several widely recognized futures studies. As a sought-after speaker, she regularly appears on stage at corporate events, international industry gatherings, and business summits.

Originally from Bavaria, she now lives between her chosen homes of Stuttgart and Florence, while working with clients around the world.
