My name is Carla Helton and I am an Early Education Specialist for Ready Region West at the United Way of Roanoke Valley. I have been in the early education field for 25+ years. I received my Bachelor’s from Radford University in Human Development and Psychology. My passion is educating early educators and ensuring they have the tools and resources available to them to create loving, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environments and interactions for young children via coaching, consulting and training on various early education and child development topics. I am certified Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K CLASS observer, as well as serving as Vice=President for the local Piedmont Chapter of VVAAEYC.
