Carly Beck is a Senior Product Manager on the Social Care team in the Continuum Strategic Growth Business Group at Cerner Corporation. Since joining Cerner in 2015, Carly has created content within the HealtheRegistries solution to meet Regulatory and Clinical Standard requirements. Carly has extensive code system and data model knowledge and experience to implement solutions. She joined the Social Care team in May 2020 to create and enhance the Determinants of Health product aiding in assessment, intervention, referral, analysis, and prediction of patients’ and populations’ social needs across the continuum of health care.
Prior to Cerner, Carly was a float pool bedside nurse at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for 4.5 years. She actively engaged patients in their care plans and wondered where nursing could implement determinants of health education earlier in the healthcare process. Carly obtained a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree with a Public Health focus while at Cerner and gained skills in community-based assessment, business model objective development, and interprofessional collaboration outcome measurement through social network analysis.
