Casey Silver works on the Agent Security team at OpenAI. His work contributes to deploying agents such as Codex safely through sandboxing, managed network access, controlled credentials, policies, and agent-aware monitoring.

Before joining OpenAI, Casey was the Security Lead at Auger and an Application Security Engineer at Palantir.

Casey holds a master’s degree from James Madison University, where his research explored defenses against real-time relay phishing attacks targeting MFA.
