In her many years at Microsoft she has documented everything from highly technical security features and how to set up your mouse. She is a huge fan of Virtual Reality and currently works in the Microsoft Mixed Reality organization.

#WomenITPros is a grassroots, open source initiative to show women that they can make a real contribution to the tech world without ever writing a line of code. In this talk, #WomenITPros initiative instigator Cathy Moya talks about some of the misconceptions about working in the tech industry and why we need to have a broader conversation about what being a "woman in tech" - and a "human in tech" - means. You'll learn how to support women already working in the non-coding parts of the tech industry, how to encourage young women and career changes to think about careers in the broad spectrum of tech, and how to help keep the message going - you don't HAVE to code to work in tech.
