¿Cómo puede alguien con unos pocos componentes de Arduino, cartón y tapas de vitaminas diseñar herramientas que transformen la vida de personas con discapacidad? Esta charla recorre el desarrollo de dispositivos accesibles, con el objetivo de inspirar a más personas a crear soluciones que acerquen la tecnología a quienes más la necesitan. Se presentarán dos casos concretos: un dispositivo para la alfabetización y estimulación cognitiva de niños con dificultades de aprendizaje, y otro para la comunicación alternativa de personas con trastornos del habla o movilidad reducida.
A partir de herramientas de bajo costo y software libre, se analizarán desafíos técnicos como la limitación de pines, reproducción de audio, integración de RFID, y decisiones clave en el diseño centrado en el usuario.
La charla propone una reflexión técnica y ética sobre el rol de quienes desarrollamos tecnología en la construcción de un mundo más accesible, e invita a sumarse a una comunidad que crea con propósito.
