Dr. Chamundeeswari (Chamu) Kuppuswamy is an Indian and English lawyer, based in the United Kingdom. She is Senior Lecturer at Hertfordshire Law School, and research group leader of Societal impact at the Centre for Climate Change Research. She researches in international law related to development, environment, and property rights. She is the convenor of European Society of International Law's Environmental and Biolaw research interest groups. She has conducted funded research in human rights driven approaches to land and customary law, restorative justice, and international regulation of intangible property, such as the human genome and traditional knowledge and cultural rights.
