Before founding 48North, Chapin worked at Pine Tree Equity Partners, a Miami-based private equity firm focused on family-owned and founder-led service businesses, where he was actively involved in sourcing, due diligence, and end-to-end deal execution. That insider perspective on how buyers think and make decisions is something he now puts to work for sellers.
Raised in Colorado in a family of entrepreneurs, Chapin has a deep personal understanding of what it takes to build a business and what is truly at stake when it comes time to transition one. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
