Prof. V. Charles, PhD, PDRF, FRSS, FBCS, SFHEA, FPPBA, MIScT, CMBE, is a Professor of AI for Business and Management Science and Programme Director for the MSc AI in Business at Queen’s Business School, Queen’s University Belfast, UK. He is also Programme Director for Clinton Leadership Institute’s "Beyond GenAI" edX programme and Vice Chair of the British Computer Society (BCS) Northern Ireland. In addition, he holds multiple visiting professorship positions across the globe. His research focuses on leveraging AI-driven analytics and cloud-based solutions to boost business productivity and competitiveness and enhance societal welfare. He has over 25 years of teaching, research, and consultancy experience, having been a full professor and director of research for more than a decade in triple-crown business schools. With vast experience in organising and running edX programmes across the Globe. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has Executive Certificates from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Harvard Business School, IE Business School, and the Royal Statistical Society (RSS). He has been recognised as a Fellow of the BCS and the RSS, as a Senior Member of INFORMS, and as a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He is also a Senior Member of The Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation of Behaviour, UK. He is an AWS Accredited Educator and Certified Cloud Practitioner. He serves as a Special Issue Editor and an Associate Editor for many prestigious top-ranked journals. He is a recipient of many international academic honours and awards.
