Cheryl Fattibene, DNP, MSN, MPH, FNP-BC Cheryl has been a Family Nurse Practitioner and Nursing leader for 33 years and has experience in a number of healthcare leadership and clinical roles. She has been part of national nursing initiatives including the Nurses on Boards Coalition and the National Forum of State Nursing Workforce. She has worked on healthcare initiatives including value-based care (VBC) and payment models for NPs and is a national presenter on the topic of provider burnout and team-based care models. She is currently working on a Transition to Practice book for new NPs and doing freelance work for AAPEX, NNPEN and other national advanced practice organizations to further the NP role and its recognition. She currently serves on the alumni board of the Yale School of Public Health. Along with her full-time job teaching at Jefferson College of Nursing in Philadelphia, Cheryl has also worked as an FNP for Customs and Border Patrol to provide care to detainees at the U.S. detention camps along the U.S. southern border.
