Dr. Ching-Hao “Eric” Mao is a cybersecurity executive, entrepreneur, and researcher focused on AI-native security, OT/IoT defense, edge computing, and critical-infrastructure resilience. He is Founder of Avocado.ai, leading the SenseL and EdgeX cybersecurity platforms, and Director of Advanced Technology at Wistron NeWeb Corporation. Dr. Mao holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and was a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon CyLab. His work advances governed OT baseline learning, Edge LLMs, BAS validation, and human-accountable AI security, informed by field-oriented validation in Taiwan power-system environments.
