From the USA, Chris has lived in Chile, Australia, Singapore and New Zealand. Chef, winemaker, entrepreneur, and a lover of Web3 with a passion for impact. He founded PengWine in 2004 and built it across SE Asia for 18 years — and was building with blockchain before most people had heard the word NFT.

In 2017 he built a track and trace system putting a unique digital identity on every bottle — provenance, chain of custody, the name of the person who opened it, surfaced in seconds. Real-world NFT utility in a high-value physical market nearly a decade ago. Covid ended it. The conviction didn't.

What followed was High As Unicorn — from OG Rune on BTC to a Solana project with 1,111 hand-drawn Hauwee NFTs built around Education, Opportunity, and Community. Eighty-two consecutive weekly X Spaces without missing one.
