Education Director - Koru Education

Chris is a teacher, a writer and a speaker and his specialism is how to use school data for pupils and not compliance. Chris has taught for over 20 years and he has had several international leadership roles in that time. As a consultant Chris has worked closely with most of the major global school groups, including Nord Anglia, English Schools Foundation, Wellington, ISP and Yew Chung Yew Wah Group. Chris has been a regular speaker for the Festival of Education, FOBISIA, COBIS and the Cambridge Schools Conference and he has spoken about data, literacy, SEND and AI. Chris is a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching and also sits on their editorial panel for Impact Magazine. Chris is a husband to his amazing wife, dad to two amazing children and one amazing (and enormous) dog called Lily. Chris has left the corporate world to pursue something purely focused on education and development rather than a specific product. He was the founder of and now heads up Koru Education as Global Education Director. Koru Education is a team of global experts helping schools grow and they have expertise in school data, coaching and professional development, literacy and wellbeing.
