You reached Sitecore XC OOTB limitations? Let's get rid of them!
Within this session I would like to discuss the issue every Sitecore XC developer might have already encountered.
Within every project we reach the point, where the OOTB features of a product do not completely fit the customer requirements or where we simply reach some limitations.
With the example of extending standard price card snapshots, I would like to showcase the process of recognizing the limitation, thinking of how to get rid of that, up to the point, where we really implement something new and of cause how we could do that.
This example in the end can be used as a general blueprint, how to handle Sitecore XC limitations in various other similar situations.
Ordercloud and Experience Platform - The perfect fit
Within this session I would like to showcase and demonstrate a PoC of integrating Sitecore Ordercloud with Sitecore XP, including sync of data from Ordercloud to XP, maintaince of data in XP (Content & Experience Editor) with automatic sync back to Ordercloud, up to the point of the integration of native analytics and personalization capabilities of XP with Ordercloud.
The goal is to demonstrate the idea behind the integration and how quick and easy this can be done by everyone afterwards.
XM Cloud - Unleash the beast with composability
XM Cloud has been around for a while now. But have you had the opportunity to deal with it intensively, especially when it comes to expanding it?
In this session I will present various real customer requirements and show how these can be implemented using XM Cloud and a composable approach. Features such as a News Update Subscription & Notification Mechanism in conjunction with Sitecore Send, the fusion of content and commerce with the integration of Sitecore Ordercloud, both as a lightweight admin UI in the backend with possible 2-way synchronization and as a powerful storefronts in the frontend, include an automated translation tool using Azure Cognitive Services or the 2-way synchronization and enrichment of content with layout information maintained by Content Hub One within XM Cloud.
All these features rely on latest XM Technologies and best practices like using Workflows / Webhooks and GraphQL Authoring API.
Headless SXA vs XM Cloud Component Builder – a rock off
Components are the visual reusable building blocks to define your website layout. Sitecore's drumming up a new way to build components in XM Cloud.
Join the rock-off of the year! A merciless competition of two strong opponents. In the right corner we have the mature component building framework: “Headless SXA” that has proven its strength over years. In the left Corner, a young challenger that is conquering its space rapidly: The “XM Cloud Component Builder”.
Which solution is the best for your project and wins the hearts of your users? How do the features “Bring Your Own Code” (BYOC) and Custom Styles push the limits of the Component Builder? And will this be enough to win this rock-off?
Let the editors maintain their policies again in real time in Sitecore XC
Within this session you will be led through a custom Sitecore XC extension, with which you are able again to set policy values in real time withoutvthe need to of a developer to change the environment json, to deploy or to bootstrap.
In general you will learn how easy custom extensions to Sitecore XC are, if you follow basic architecture like using pipelines, blocks, policies and so on.
Experiences with Content Hub One - Journey of relaunching our Usergroup website
The Sitecore Usergroup Germany relaunched their website this year and we want to share our experience with you. Using Content Hub One and next.js we moved from Wordpress to the latest Sitecore technology. Join us in our session and hear about our lessons learned, what challenges we faced and our suggestion on best practices.
Create your first Sitecore Docker based customer solution
Within this presentation I will present all the different solutions and repositories Sitecore provides OOTB to have a look, which purpose they have and what we can learn from them.
As an conclusion of that, I will present a custom Blueprint repository combining all the best practices learned from the Sitecore solutions, with which a customer solution can could be created. With this Blueprint repositories developers can quickly learn, what is needed to set up different environments like XP0 or XP1, how to include XConnect customizations or what is needed to include special modules lilke SxA.
