Ten years ago, Christian Spana moved to Canada, where he worked, studied, and collaborated on scientific research in artificial intelligence. That experience gave him firsthand insight into how technology, research, and entrepreneurship can transform industries and create opportunities with a global reach.

Today, he is applying that knowledge in Ecuador, where he is building Chaucheros—a tech startup that seeks to combine artificial intelligence, local talent, and entrepreneurship to create new job opportunities and solutions for real-world problems.

His vision is to demonstrate that competitive technology products for the global market can be developed in Ecuador and Latin America. He is currently exploring the development of Chaucheros AI—specialized agents capable of executing tasks—and a future platform where developers and companies can publish their own artificial intelligence solutions.
