Chaos Navigation: Mastering Preparedness for Success in Incident Response

Does this sound familiar? A cybersecurity incident has just occurred in your organization and everyone is scrambling to figure out what happened, how it happened, and what to do about it. Your head is swimming, everyone wants answers, and it feels like you've just been thrown into the middle of the ocean during a hurricane. If you said yes, you are not alone!

During my time as an incident responder, both as an internal full-time employee and as a consultant, I have found that many, if not most, organizations are not adequately prepared to handle cybersecurity incidents when they happen. This presentation is meant to help attendees ready their organization for incident response activities by discussing many of the fundamentals of preparation which are often overlooked.

Target Audience: Anyone in technology including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and Cybersecurity professionals
