From Power BI to Trusted AI Action: A Hands-On Day With Fabric IQ
Your Power BI semantic model is already the hard part of a trustworthy AI foundation. What most teams get wrong next is treating "let it act" as one undifferentiated step. A deterministic rule that fires when a threshold is crossed is predictable by design. A reasoning agent deciding what to do is not, and it needs a different kind of governance, not just more of it.
This full-day, hands-on workshop builds both, entirely inside Fabric, so you can tell the difference in your own architecture instead of off a vendor slide. Audit your model, bring your own or use one we provide, for what actually carries meaning, generate a Fabric IQ ontology from it, and wire that ontology to a deterministic, governed action with Activator: a scoped trigger and an audit trail included. Every required lab runs on Fabric alone.
We close by extending the same ontology into a Microsoft Foundry reasoning agent, live, so you see exactly what changes, and what new governance questions open, the moment a decision stops being deterministic. You leave with a working deterministic pattern you built yourself, and an honest picture of what reasoning-based action actually costs in trust.
