Cindy Munoz is a Cybersecurity Analyst with the Federal Government and an Adjunct Professor at a college in the Washington D.C. area. Cindy has experience in cybersecurity including reducing risk to the federal networks, system security, and collaborating with international and private sector partners on joint issues and response efforts. Cindy Munoz graduated with a M.S. in Cybersecurity from California State University, and was the first woman and minority to graduate from that degree program. Cindy has understood and recognized the need for more backgrounds of talent in tech to help drive innovation. Cindy has started and participated in a number of research efforts, workforce engagement initiatives, volunteering, and other work to solve shortcomings and help propel tech into a future that is more expansive and dynamic. When Cindy is not conducting cyber work or actively addressing current tech issues, Cindy can be found traveling, trying new restaurants, learning languages, exercising, or enjoying time with her friends and family.
