Serving simultaneously as Chief Executive Officer, President, and a member of the Board of Directors, Cindy B. Taylor holds a uniquely comprehensive position at Oil States International. She assumed her executive roles in May 2007 and has maintained them for more than 16 years, making her one of the longer-tenured CEOs in the oilfield services sector. Her appointment came after she had already demonstrated leadership across two other senior roles within the company — first as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer, and then as President and Chief Operating Officer. Before her time at Oil States, Taylor built her professional expertise through a series of meaningful roles in accounting and energy finance. Her earliest career years were spent at Ernst & Young LLP, where she developed her accounting skills across various management positions from 1984 to 1992. She then spent seven years as Vice President and Controller at Cliffs Drilling Company, gaining direct exposure to the financial operations of a drilling business. A role as Chief Financial Officer at L.E. Simmons & Associates followed, before she joined Oil States. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University. Her current directorship at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, held since January 2020, follows prior board service at the Federal Reserve Bank's Houston Branch and speaks to the confidence that public financial institutions place in her judgment.
