I am Clare Hawthorne, the Vice President of Product Operations & Tech Product Management at Datavant. I’m a technology leader with a passion for optimizing how teams build great software. My super power is "run state" -- I get out of bed each morning with the goal of paving the road to make products and software easier to ship. I love connecting the dots and implementing processes that scale so that my colleagues can stay focused on going from 0-to-1.

I have nearly 20 years of extensive cross-functional experience and a soft spot for helping companies and teams evolve their processes for scale. Currently I work primarily with Engineering and Product teams to improve their operations. My prior experiences include Product Management, Finance, Audit/Assurance, Customer Success, Human Resources and DEI. I have worked for companies at all sizes: large enterprises (Citigroup & Bloomberg), mid-size (Oscar Health & Namely) and pre-seed startups (joined as employee #8). Outside of work, I enjoy advising startups and serve on the junior board of a New York based non-profit, Harlem Academy.
