Sagar Patel is a Senior ML & AI Engineer in Cyber Analytics and GenAI Innovation team at Visa, where he works at the intersection of GenAI security and production scale AI systems. He helped architect and operationalize Visa’s GenAI Guard to protect Generative AI systems from prompt injection, jailbreaks, data exfiltration, and unsafe model behavior.

Sagar is also a long-time educator and community speaker with a strong passion for helping others grow. He has delivered 500+ hours of classroom and corporate training across various forums including Google DevFest, Analytics Vidhya, and Spark by Go Studio. His teaching style focuses on making complex AI concepts simple, intuitive and approachable.
