Coral Lozada, Ph.D., is a Faculty Fellow in the Office of Sustainability at Houston Methodist Hospital System, where she advances research and strategy at the intersection of healthcare operations, sustainability, and environmental resilience. Dr. Lozada leads sustainability-aligned research initiatives that examine how environmental factors, including extreme heat and air quality, affect clinical demand, operational planning, and community health outcomes. She supports executive decision-making through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and partnerships with clinicians, data scientists, and community stakeholders. Her work also includes grant development, program design, and mentoring students and early-career professionals.
