Coralia Vázquez-Otero is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at the College of Health, Community and Policy at UT San Antonio. She is interested in 1) the prevention of HPV-related cancers, and 2) the use of evidence-based and population-based interventions (policy, screening) to prevent and improve cancer-related outcomes and eliminate health inequities. At UT San Antonio, she teaches the undergraduate and graduate courses on Health Policy.
Dr. Vázquez-Otero completed a Cancer Prevention Fellowship at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and her Ph.D. at the University of South Florida College of Public Health. She is originally from Puerto Rico where she studied law at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
