You might have never heard about buildpacks before, but chances are you have already used them many times to build and run your app. We will introduce you to buildpacks, an easy way for creating production ready Docker images for a JavaScript/Node.js application without having to know anything about Dockerfiles, buildpacks, how to build your app, or even about the app itself. We will also demonstrate how we make it even easier with the Paicku CLI and how to write integration tests in Node.js to test your production ready app locally, whether your production environment is on Heroku, OpenShift, or any other Kubernetes distribution.
