Now AI is entering the SDLC. But what happens when it moves beyond simply generating code?
In this talk, we’ll explore how AI is changing the way we develop software, why the context we produce throughout the SDLC is becoming a critical engineering asset, and how practices such as issue tracking, documentation, testing, and automated verification take on a whole new value in an AI-augmented environment.
We’ll look at the emergence of context debt, why generation can scale faster than human review, and how the role of developers changes with seniority as execution increasingly gives way to context, constraints, judgment, and supervision.
Is this just another redistribution of tasks, or are we witnessing another fundamental transformation of the software development lifecycle?

Un tempo sviluppo e operation erano due mondi separati. DevOps ha cambiato questo paradigma, avvicinandoli e trasformando l’intero ciclo di vita dello sviluppo software. Oggi l’AI sta entrando nell’SDLC, ma il suo impatto va ben oltre la semplice generazione di codice.
Durante il talk vedremo come il contesto stia diventando un asset fondamentale per l’ingegneria del software, come le informazioni che non abbiamo raccolto e preservato nel tempo si siano trasformate in context debt e perché, se la generazione scala, anche la verifica deve riuscire a farlo. Vedremo inoltre come questa trasformazione impatti in modo diverso gli sviluppatori in base alla loro seniority.
