Alumna of Appalachian State University (2009), Crystal opened the university’s inaugural office of sustainability, then was was hired onto AASHE's programs team in 2015. Currently as program manager and editor, she curates the twice-monthly AASHE Bulletin newsletter, manages the AASHE Sustainability Awards, facilitates the Advisory Council, leads the AASHE Affiliates, and provides STARS technical development and participant support. Being a graduate of Rockwood Leadership School and a certified listener through Seek Healing, her purpose is to infuse an ethic of care and concern in all her relationships, and most especially with those of the more-than-human world. She enjoys connecting with people, being a community organizer and facilitator, and dog parent.
Start Your Day With Light Stretching
During this session, you'll be guided through a gentle stretching session along with an invitation to visualize what you want to get out of your experience at the AASHE conference. The session will start with a brief grounding exercise to help you get embodied and centered, then you'll flow through some movement before ending with a simple guided meditation.
