Curtis Hughes has had a unique journey - from consultant to CIO - where he currently serves and is responsible for defining and executing his company’s global technology strategy, providing collaborative, innovative and transformational solutions for customers, partners, and employees around the world.

Curtis has spent more than two decades as a trusted business leader and technology advisor for corporations and government agencies across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. During this time, he founded or co-founded 3 companies, and became a well-known expert on topics such as leadership, digital transformation, digital workplaces, technology adoption and change management, employee and customer engagement, and the future of work.

Curtis holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte (UNC Charlotte) and has previously served in a leadership role for the Information Technology Advisory Council (ITAC) for the American Red Cross and was a member of the Board of Advisors for the UNC Charlotte College of Computing and Informatics (CCI).

In 2012, Curtis was named as one of Charlotte's "40 Under 40" in recognition of his business accomplishments and commitment to the community. He frequently shares his journey and experience by writing on leadership and technology trends and speaking at business and technology conferences around the world.
