Born to a blue-collar worker and a homemaker in Southern California, his childhood was filled with outdoor activities such as baseball, skateboarding, and boxing. Although his family attended church sporadically, a pivotal encounter with God at age 20 profoundly deepened his faith, transitioning him from a cultural Christian to a devoted believer.

He married his wife in 2010 and soon after started Sevenly, an e-commerce business that combines lifestyle products with global philanthropy, quickly propelling him into the public eye. During this period, he also marked his entry into full-time ministry after a significant spiritual awakening in Bend, Oregon, which deepened his commitment to spreading the Gospel.

His theological journey intensified by late 2019 after he embraced key Christian doctrines, leading him to cofound a seminary that offers a graduate-level pastoral program. However, in 2021, a mold-related illness severely affected his health, prompting a move to Northern Arizona, where he recovered, thanks to the region's dry climate.
