Dan McGinnis, MSW (he,him,his) is one of the Healthy Families Program Specialists at the Children's Trust of Massachusetts. In his current role, he provides technical assistance, quality assurance and improvement support to a number of Healthy Families Massachusetts (HFM) programs throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. McGinnis is passionate about developing sustainable systems that break down inequities and channels this passion through his work on the Children's Trust's DEIB committee and in building more robust internship opportunities at his agency. Dan received a B.S. from Tulane University and an MSW (macro-concentration) from Boston University.
Jenise Katalina co-leads a nonprofit organization focused on eliminate health inequities experienced by women and girls of color through systemic change and community capacity building. As a consultant, she supports organizations across different sectors in moving toward being anti-racist and equity empowered institutions through changes to policies and practices. She utilizes a liberation lens in her work as a clinician, offers training and supervision focused on intergenerational and racial trauma and participates in multiple community and state level equity focused groups/initiatives. She trains and supports HFM management in Cultural Humility in supervision, programming, racial trauma and the foundations of race and racism.
