Dan Tinsley has been a CISO and led cybersecurity operations across financial services and global enterprise for over a decade, holding senior roles at many well know brands. His work has spanned incident response, threat intelligence, security engineering inside heavily regulated environments.
He brings a public service dimension alongside the practitioner background. Dan has a defence background, previously served as a NCA Special Officer in the United Kingdom, and chairs the FIRST Law Enforcement Special Interest Group, coordinating collaboration between incident responders and law enforcement worldwide.
Dan now runs DTN Advisory, an independent practice advising boards, regulators and security leaders on resilience, AI risk and the operating models cyber teams need to perform under sustained pressure. He writes and speaks on decision velocity, the human and machine loop, and leadership in high tempo cyber operations.
