AI-DRIVEN RISKS: A NEW FRONTIER IN SERVERLESS SECURITY IN ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS

As enterprises rapidly adopt serverless computing and integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their cloud-native systems, new dimensions of risk emerge. This session explores the complex interplay between AI technologies and serverless architectures, examining how AI both strengthens and undermines security in these environments. Through case studies, vulnerability analysis, and proposed mitigation frameworks, identify specific AI-induced threats to serverless systems, evaluate current defense mechanisms, and propose practical strategies for securing enterprise deployments.

Preventing Sextortion: ML-Driven Innovation on AWS

One of the most rapidly expanding cyber-enabled crimes is sextortion, which takes advantage of weaker people by manipulating them and using digital blackmail. This worldwide menace is too great for traditional law enforcement to handle alone. In this talk, I'll walk you through how governments and companies can build a multi-layered defense that integrates detection, prevention, and quick response by implementing AI-powered detection models on AWS to flag suspicious activity across messaging, email, and social media platforms. We would be examining the use of SageMaker or Bedrock, Rekognition, and AWS Comprehend. Walk you through my built, secured digital portal powered by AWS Amplify for anonymous reporting and connecting victims with immediate support, while complying with privacy and child protection compliance standards in the solution.

Modernizing Telecom Security: ML-Powered Approach

Threats to telecom networks are always changing, ranging from widespread service interruptions to fraud and fake voice traffic. The scope, velocity, and complexity of threats are too much for traditional security techniques to handle. This talk examines how telecom operators can update their security strategy and improve customer service delivery trust by utilizing AI-powered detection models on AWS cloud-native services. My focus will be on voice and fraud detection, as well as how AWS's scalable infrastructure guarantees high availability for mission-critical telecom workloads. Trained SageMaker models would be used to detect fraudulent calls, impersonation, and anomalies in speech traffic while employing cloud-native at scale, which enables high-availability threat monitoring. Building real-time response for secured pipelines to stop threats before they impact services and for business value, reducing revenue loss, strengthening customer trust, and aligning with compliance standards.

Preventing Sextortion through Digital Solutions with AWS

Sextortion is a serious problem in which people, usually teenagers and young adults, are forced to share intimate photos or films under false pretenses, causing severe psychological and emotional harm. In severe situations, it may even be fatal. In order to improve safety measures in Africa, this session shines on strategies for combating sextortion using cloud-based AI detection technology.
