Dan has held various roles from Linux sysadmin to configuration analyst to build pipeline engineer. He is currently a senior DevSecOps Project Manager at a large financial services company in the Northeastern US.

Dan earned his Masters of Science in Information Science from Penn State in 2016. He was awarded the CISSP certification in 2018. In 2019, Dan completed Penn State's Leadership Development certificate program. In 2021, he earned the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. Dan obtained his undergraduate degree in Information Technology from Slippery Rock University, located about an hour north of Pittsburgh.

Dan is a member of ACM, Infragard, and a senior member of IEEE.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dan enjoys a variety of music from classical to bluegrass to electronica. He has been a licensed amateur radio operator since 2018 and became a trained SKYWARN spotter in 2020. He dabbles occasionally in digital photography with his Nikon dSLR. Dan has a soft spot for Italian, Thai, Indian, Mexican and Mediterranean food (not necessarily in that order).

Dan is passionate about serving his community. He has served on numerous local boards of directors. He is currently a member of his homeowner's association (HOA) board.

Dan lives outside of King of Prussia, PA in the community of Chesterbrook with his family.
