Cybersecurity has afforded me a front and leading role in transforming organizations as they adopt new technologies. It's been as much about architecture, business cases, up-skilling, and reorganizing as it has been about safeguards, compliance, and governance.
I've navigated organizations through service oriented architecture, mobile computing, cloud computing, and now AI.
It takes more than technical training or even leadership (both important); it also takes making sure that the people who are learning the skills know where they need to be on day 1 of "go live".
Building the operating picture and orienting the organization for it is my role.
Presently I am an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati and Associate Director of the Ohio Cyber Range Institute.
