OneLake is the heart of Microsoft Fabric – all Fabric experiences can communicate with data stored in One Lake. As you’d expect, there are many options for getting data into One Lake, and this session will examine those options and the open file format, delta parquet, that all Fabric experiences can consume.

Microsoft has provided multiple ways to ingest all types of data, from static files to real-time data streams. Once inside the Fabric eco-system, there are many options to transform data and use that data directly from OneLake.

This fast-paced session will demonstrate the versatile nature of One Lake, the benefits of delta parquet, and the options available to ingest, transform and visualize data, showing how OneLake is involved in the complete end-to-end lifecycle of data solutions built using Microsoft Fabric.

While this session will use the Microsoft stack as its frame of reference, the scenarios that are up for discussion are applicable to the wider AI landscape.
