David S. Platt teaches computer science at Harvard University Extension School, and at companies all over the world. He is the author of 12 books, including Introducing Microsoft .NET from Microsoft Press, and Why Software Sucks. He also wrote MSDN Magazine’s monthly back-page column “Don’t Get Me Started” for 10 years. Microsoft designated him a Software Legend in 2002. He lives in Ipswich, Massachusetts.
