Dave Pabellon is a graphic designer. He constantly pursues endeavors that connect his graphic design practice with social empowerment through the studio and classroom environment. He has mentored and instructed in the non-profit sector (Marwen, Bayview Hunters Point Center of Art and Technology, and Project Osmosis), instructs at the university level (University of Illinois at Chicago, Northwestern University, SAIC, and University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana), and lectures infrequently for professional design institutions and organizations (AIGA's Design for Democracy, and University & College Designers Association).

Pabellon is currently an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Dominican University and will be joining Columbia College Chicago at the start of 2021 under the same title. In addition he is also a design consultant under the moniker It Is Just Dave LLC, with a focus on partnerships with cultural institutions and contemporary artists/organizations. Most recently he has joined the AIGA Chicago Board serving as Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and is a member of the Design As Protest Collective.
