Mr. Cass joined GSR.IO as the global CISO. David's experience includes being a Senior Partner at Law and Forensics responsible for the Crypto & Digital Banking practice and a key member of the Cybersecurity & Privacy practice. He served as a senior banking regulator, VP for Cyber & IT Risk for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. David specialized in large institution supervision, Fin-Tech, AI/ML, and cryptocurrencies. Previously, he served as the global CISO for IBM Cloud. He has extensive experience in cybersecurity, AI, risk, regulatory compliance, and business resiliency. David has an MSE from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from MIT. He is adjunct faculty for Harvard and is a frequent speaker at high-profile conferences, and served on several boards.
