Experienced Analytics Engineer with years of experience building production-grade data infrastructure for fast-growing companies across banking, beauty, retail, AI, and e-commerce. I specialize in modern data stack implementations, helping organizations transform raw data into trusted metrics and self-serve analytics that drive real business decisions.

My work spans large-scale data modelling, AI-enablement frameworks, and cloud migrations, with a track record of delivering measurable impact on model designs, infrastructure cost savings, pipeline performance gains, and improvements in data quality. I approach data modelling from a business logic standpoint, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ship incremental value while building for long-term scale.

Beyond my consulting work, I co-organise the dbt Meetup Lagos, contribute to growing the analytics engineering community across Africa, and share practical data engineering content on my YouTube channel, David Data. I share my thoughts as a speaker on different platforms on data & AI.
