David Hammer leads the investigative team at WWL Louisiana, the CBS affiliate in New Orleans. He's won seven regional Emmy Awards, including three Environmental News Emmys for exposing illicit oil dumping in the Gulf, air pollution in Cancer Alley and hazardous gas leaks at a landfill. He also spent 15 years as a print reporter, winning the Scripps Howard and Society of Environmental Journalists' national awards for his investigation of what caused the 2010 BP Gulf oil disaster.
