David Kolesar is passionate about bridging the gaps between psychology and technology through innovation.
He is a United States Army veteran who graduated Cum Laude from Millersville University with dual majors in Psychology and Philosophy with a minor in Criminology. He later obtained a technical certificate in full stack software development from The Software Craftsmanship Guild. Afterwards, he pursued a Masters of Professional Studies in Cybersecurity at Penn State.
Kolesar acted as the Raytheon State College site Innovation Advocate for the Intelligence, Information and Services unit. He then received Raytheon's 2017 Author and Inventors Award for innovations in the defense sector. Later, he was invited to present several of his white papers at the 2018 Systems Engineering and Architecture Technology Network Technical Symposium at Raytheon Missile Systems.
While working as a research and development engineer In 2019, he won the Siemens Digital Industries State College location Hackathon for his innovations in Brain Computer Interface technologies. He was also on the winning team of the annual Siemens Innovation Days competition in 2020.
