David Wheeler is a Staff Engineer on Messaging Platforms at the New York Times. Previously he was Senior Platform Architect at iovation co-founder of PostgreSQL Experts, Inc. He is perhaps best known for the open-source projects Sqitch (sqitch.org), a database change management system, and PGXN (pgxn.org), the PostgreSQL Extension Network. He lives in New York City with his artist wife, theatrical daughter, and precocious cat.
