He later joined the Las Vegas Locomotives in the United Football League, playing a key role in their championship win.

David grew up in Imlay City, Michigan, excelling in several sports, including basketball, football, and track. He earned All-State honors in basketball and set multiple records in track events. In high school, he scored over 60 touchdowns on the football field, showcasing his impressive athletic ability. After high school, he attended Grand Valley State University, where he helped lead the team to its first National Championship and set numerous NCAA records.

David’s professional football career began with the Detroit Lions, where his work ethic and ability to make impactful plays earned him recognition. He then moved to the Denver Broncos, where he excelled, particularly during the preseason, with a memorable 84-yard touchdown reception.
