Chicago Native Dawn Hendon began her education in Chicago Public Schools attending the competitive Whitney Young High School alongside First Lady Michelle Obama. Dawn matriculated to Bradley University to receive a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing from Bradley University. She gained her MBA at University of Redlands

In pursuit of hot weather happiness, Dawn relocated to Sunny Southern California and earned and MBA at with a concentration in International Business from University of Redlands. An Honorary Doctorate in Theology was bestowed on her in 2023 from Next Dimension University.

A Public Speaker & Chaplain, she loves officiating weddings. During COVID she started a wedding chapel in her backyard that was featured on ABC 10 News Positively San Diego.

Practicing Abstinence, she has encouraged other women who have followed and became engaged within months. She authored a book on the subject and loves to have the conversation.
