Deanna is a proud partner, parent, and student affairs professional who enjoys quality time with her family, traveling, playing sports, video games, and going to the movies. She has served within university housing as a full-time professional for 14 1/2 years within the SEAHO region, with experience in desk and mailroom operations, student and staff leadership and development, building operations management, curriculum and assessment, and conduct and care. Some of her points of pride are being a self-published author, participating in the 2018 NHTI, being awarded the 2022 Carmen L. Vance Herstory Award, attaining her doctorate in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies, serving as past co-chair for the Womxn in Housing network 2020 - 2023, being a member of ACUHO-I’s Future of The Profession - Inclusive Communities taskforce 2023-2024, and serving as ACUHO-I Foundation's Ex-Officio Board Member (2024-2025).
